2021.12.07 21:44 godntomato My boyfriend holds hands with his friends
My (19F) boyfriend (18M) just told me he holds hands with his friend a lot and claims that it’s just for a joke and it doesn’t mean anything to him, and it honestly makes me feel uncomfortable, especially because he gets pretty jealous and upset at me for hugging friends. I understand that I could just be overthinking and completely in the wrong here, but how should I go about this? It has been happening for a long time now, and I’ve only just found out about it.

I followed this guide on reddit on how to get the thought as fast as possible, but following the steps, even with 5 drama, wont make it show up. Then following some of the steps on the wiki still won't make the thought appear.
is this a change that have happened, or might it be a bug? other thoughts are appearing.

2021.12.07 21:44 archaio How to pamper your horse on their day off?
My boy did extremely well today — i’m slowly starting to frame him and teach him what the inside leg is really there for (he’s 10, but wasn’t trained in basic dressage from what I can tell. Previous owner basically gave up on him and left him in the fields for two years before I bought him). Now, I could tell it was hard for him and that he was both mentally and physically exhausted when we were done (in a good way! He literally wouldn’t stop snorting). All in all he did very well, so I want to give him tomorrow off & just pamper him a bit.
Is there anything special you do to make your horse feel appreciated and loved ? I was going to opt for a massage, but I feel like he deserves so much more.

What’s the best spot to hit when Texas stocks trout? I know they usually stop them in one spot and then they run in different directions. New to the area, thanks!

I’ve been around since their first time at sirius. I remember the first time Jason called, the one who died. This isn’t some bitch post by the way, the show is good. I just listened five days a week for about four hours a day for over a year, got burnt out.
is anyone else in a similar boat?

2021.12.07 21:44 Aquatic_Roses Need advice
my boyfriend was assaulted while passed out by a girl that we both know. she used to be a close friend of mine until she made him uncomfortable while drunk and he no longer wanted to hang out with her. he said he doesn't want to think about it until the school year is over and I want to respect that, but I can't stand seeing her in shared clubs and events knowing what she did. Any advice?

2021.12.07 21:44 MoneyLazlo How to stop stubborn puppy from doing things you don’t like
As the title states, I currently have a 14 week old Husky puppy, she’s been great and has started to learn basic commands, and have the ability to potty outside (for the most part), but I cannot for the life of me convince her to stop chewing on unwanted things (me included). I don’t want to use shock collars, mainly because it’s easy to mess up with them and I’d have to get her hair trimmed for it to even work properly, firm No’s and moving her away don’t do anything either, I try to swap out what she’s chewing on for a toy or whatever and she does not care. I’m not sure if there’s something else I can try, I’m obviously not going to go and hit her or anything so with the Firm no’s not working and what i’ve tried I feel stuck outta luck, any ideas?

2021.12.07 21:44 Savoir_Faire You Get What You Pay For - a short story about building a PC
In the year 2010 or thereabouts, my brother was dating a woman named Bianca. Bianca was really, really good with taxes. She helped my brother do his taxes that year, and my brother got back $5,000.
When I heard how much he got back, my eyes about fell out of my head.
"What are you going to do with all that money?" I asked, imagining all you could do with $5,000. Put a down payment on a used Toyota. Pay off school loans. Nice, responsible things like that.
My brother is a thrillseeker. And he also is one of those people who likes to have the latest, greatest, biggest, fastest thing. So when he said what he said next, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.
"I'm going to build a computer with it!" he said.
My eyes about fell out of my head. "You're going to spend five thousand dollars to build a computer?" I asked, incredulous. What a waste of money, I thought. I myself had built computers on the cheap for years. I was still riding my high mileage $800 AMD I had built back in college. "That's just complete overkill. You can get everything you need $2,000."
"It's going to have a 3.2 GHz i7 processor."
"Pfft," I scoffed.
He grinned maniacally at me. "I'm going to put 64 Gigabytes of RAM in it."
"DUDE," I said. "You won't even be able to use all that RAM! What is even the point of that?"
He only smiled, unfazed. "I'm going to do it, and it's going to be awesome. Plus I do video editing, I need a fast computer."
I waffled a bit, judged his decision, thinking it wholly irresponsible when he could be paying down his debts or this or that, but he didn't care one whit. And so he went ahead and built it, and I stopped thinking about it altogether.
A few years later he was driving down from Los Angeles to visit me where I lived in Texas. I think it was around 2013. He mentioned off-handed that he had to got a Mac for his work and had to sell his old one.
"I'll buy it from you," I said.
"Great! I'll give you a deal. I'll sell it to you for $1000."
"Sold," I said, thinking myself getting the fantastic end of a bargain. He drove down for Christmas, we celebrated, and I got a nice, old computer as a present.
I booted the thing up. It was blazing fast. I bemusedly played some games at their ultra, ultra-est settings. I can see the appeal, I thought.
So, what goes wrong, I hear you asking? Why was this $5000 a waste of money after all? Well, I am sad to report that, after 10 years of use with only two upgrades (a gtx 970 given generously by my brother - he had switched back to Windows, got a better one, and had to give it away) and an SSD harddrive, this computer... can no longer play games on ultra settings. Yet this thing is still an absolute beast that ran every game and everything I threw at it for 8 years straight (which, in dog and computer years, is like 80 years) without even breaking a sweat. Now that is value.
So the moral of the story is... that was $5,000 incredibly well spent.
Although I still have never seen more than like 30% usage on the RAM.
